The SunStar Alaska house was meticulously designed and crafted by myself, drawing inspiration from the concept of Hygge, a Danish and Norwegian term encompassing cozy comfort and conviviality, fostering feelings of wellness and contentment. Design is my lifelong passion, and as you explore Alaska's rugged landscapes, I created a space for you to relax in absolute comfort, indulging in modern amenities. My design concept revolves around cultivating a sense of community and contentment for our guests, achieved through the utilization of warm, deep, soothing colors in the bedrooms and light, bright furnishings in our common areas. Rates include your choice of one daily complimentary breakfast plate from the chef’s gourmet selections. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am – 10:00 am in the dining room or outside at private tables.
Please note dietary restrictions on your reservation, as only some things are always available in Alaska. We can provide lactose-free, gluten-free, low-carb, vegetarian, and paleo options with advanced notice.
